Along with the many things I will do this coming year I will keep this diary. I have never so much as attempted one before now, but, with varying degrees of commitment, I’m sure, I must now force upon myself a more in-depth accounting of my thoughts.
JIM McPHERSON (1975-) is among today’s most important graphic designers. Born in St. Louis, Mo., he now lives and works in New York with his wife Kristin, and three sons, Jake, Ben and Nate. As a Pratt Institute student, his dream had been to work in a graphics studio promoting bands from the local music scene. Seven years later, as creative director for an international apparel manufacturer, his collaborations in the world of fashion have included clients such as Charlotte Ronson, Nicole Richie, Ecko and Steve Madden.
